MARTOCK POOL CASH LEAGUE RULES 2025/2026

1. All matches to be played to "International Rules".
2. All matches are to be fixtured Every 3rd Monday night (excluding Bank Holidays) as per the fixtures list and we will be using the RackEmApp for scorecards.
3. First matches will be played at 7.00pm on their allocated table at venue, with the second matches starting at approximately 9.00pm, the second matches will use tables as they become available.
4. All matches are 11 frames – all frames to be played.
5. Points are awarded as follows: 1 point for each frame won and 2 points for a match win.
6. Final positions will be determined on Total Points, if 2 players are tied on points then the following criteria in the following order will apply: Matches Won, Frame Difference, Head-to-Head Score.
7. Players are to lag for the break.
8. A player will only be allowed to re-arrange a maximum of 5 late matches per season giving their opponent, the venue and tournament organiser a minimum of 24 hours' notice, a 6-point penalty will be given if the above is not adhered to. The opposing player will give 3 dates to the cancelling player which must be before the next scheduled match. If the players cannot agree on a date, the tournament organiser will set a date for the match. If a player is still unable to make this date a 6-0 win will be awarded to the player who can attend the tournament organiser date. 8a. Organising matches to be played early to cover holiday, shift patterns are permitted and will not count towards the 5 late matches in rule 8.
9. If a player fails to attend a match with NO notice given (including re-arranged matches), their opponent has the decision to claim the match 6-0, if a player gives less than 24 hours' notice, the offending player will be given 5 penalty points, and the match will need to be re-scheduled as per rule number 8.
10. All matches must be played before the last fixtured match.
11. Should a player need to rearrange more than the allocated number of matches, this will need the tournament organisers’ approval.
12. Any matches not played, and points claimed are still liable to pay their £5 fees
13. Match fees are £5 per match per player. This will need to be paid for by CASH. Any player with outstanding fees will not be able to play any further matches until all outstanding fees are paid in full.
14. If a player falls 1 month behind on their fees, that player will be removed from the league and will forfeit any monies already paid to the league.
15. Results will be published on the RackEmApp app.
16. At the end of the season the top 2 players from each division will be promoted to the next division, with the bottom 2 players from each division will be demoted to the below division.
17. The tournament organisers’ decisions on any matter that arise will be final.
